Why does the portal show different last 4 digits to my customer's card
Locating a transaction when the customer has paid using a digital wallet such as Apple Pay or Google Pay
If a customer pays using Apple Pay, Google Pay or another digital wallet, the last 4 digits shown on your transaction records will not match their physical card.
This is because digital wallets generate a virtual account number for security.
To validate a transaction, have the customer:
For Google Pay:
Open the Google Pay app
Tap on the card used
Scroll down and find the Virtual Account Number
The last 4 digits here should match
For Apple Pay:
Open the Wallet app
Tap on the card used
Tap "More"
View the last 4 Device Account Number digits
Match to receipt
