Keeping your payment terminal up-to-date with the latest software and settings is important for optimal performance. 

This help article provides instructions on how to update the software on your terminal as well as adjust configuration settings
 


Which mode is your terminal in?

Standalone

 

Bluetooth

 
 
  • From the READY screen press the UP arrow
  • Select “REMOTE UPDATE”

If an update is available:

  • The terminal will begin downloading it. 
  • The screen will display the size of the update file, and a progress indicator.
  • After the file has been downloaded, the terminal will beep and the screen will show the message "Successful update. Please restart".
  • Turn the terminal off and then back on again
  • The terminal is now ready to use
 

If your terminal's screen says “Ready for transaction” please switch your PDA off.

  1. From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously
  2. Select SETTINGS
  3. Select REMOTE UPDATE

If an update is available:

  • The terminal will begin downloading it. 
  • The screen will display the size of the update file, and a progress indicator.
  • After the file has been downloaded, the terminal will beep and the screen will show the message "Successful update. Please restart".
  • Turn the terminal off and then back on again. 
  • You can now pair your PDA with your terminal.
