If your terminal displays "Welcome" on the screen, it means it is currently set to Bluetooth mode.

For most users, Standalone mode is recommended over Bluetooth.

Here's how to switch:

  1. From the Welcome screen, hold the yellow arrow button while pressing the up arrow
  2. This will show the main menu.Select Settings > Operation Mode > Standalone

3. Press the red X repeatedly to return to the Ready screen.

4. Your terminal should now be in Standalone mode.

If it still shows Welcome:

  1. Try rebooting the device using the power button
  2. On restart, it should connect to a network automatically.
