By default, your payment terminal uses automatic network selection to always connect to the best available mobile network.

This article explains how to set it up again if you have moved to default selection previously.

Which mode is your terminal in?

Standalone

Bluetooth

  1. From the "READY" screen, press the UP arrow to show the main menu
  2. Select SETTINGS
  3. Select CELLULAR NETWORK
  4. Select CELLULAR MODE
  5. Select AUTOMATIC
  6. The terminal will make a beep, you can keep pressing the red X to take you bank to the READY screen

The RE-CONNECTION MODE (the option found directly above CELLULAR MODE) should always be set to AUTOMATIC.

If the RE-CONNECTION MODE is set to MANUAL, you will have to manually select a network every time you switch the terminal on.

If your terminal's screen says “Ready for transaction” please switch your PDA off.

  1. From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously

  3. Select CELLULAR NETWORK
  4. Select CELLULAR MODE
  5. Select AUTOMATIC
  6. The terminal will make a beep, you can keep pressing the red X to take you bank to the WELCOME screen
  7. You can now pair your PDA with your terminal

The RE-CONNECTION MODE (the option found directly above CELLULAR MODE) should always be set to AUTOMATIC.

If the RE-CONNECTION MODE is set to MANUAL, you will have to manually select a network every time you switch the terminal on.
