Manually select a specific GPRS network
If you are experiencing signal issues you may need to manually select your mobile network

If you are facing connection issues, it may be necessary for you to manually select your network.
Please see instructions on how to do this below:
If your terminal displays the message “Connecting please wait” please click on this link to fix the issue; https://support.cabcard.services/terminals/fix-connection-related-issues?from_search=178511246
Which mode is your terminal in?
- From the READY screen press the UP arrow
- Select SETTINGS
- Select CELLULAR NETWORK
- Select CELLULAR MODE
- Select MANUAL
- Select SELECT NETWORK
- Select a network when the list appears
- When you see “successful connection” or network saved", go back to CELLULAR MODE
- Select AUTOMATIC
- When you hear a beep keep pressing the red X to take you back to the READY screen
If your terminal's screen says “Ready for transaction” please switch your PDA off.
- From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously
- Select SETTINGS
- Select CELLULAR NETWORK
- Select CELLULAR MODE
- Select MANUAL
- Select SELECT NETWORK
- Select a network when the list appears
- When you see “successful connection” or network saved" keep pressing the red X to take you back to the WELCOME screen
- You can now pair your PDA with your terminal
You will need to change the setting back to AUTOMATIC at a later point. To do this please follow the below instructions:
- From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously
- Select SETTINGS
- Select CELLULAR NETWORK
- Select CELLULAR MODE
- Select AUTOMATIC
6. Press the red X three times to take you back to the WELCOME screen
