How to request payment via SMS or QR code

CabCard's payment link solution is a great way to request payment from your customers, whether face-to-face at the end of a journey, or via SMS for prepayment of advance bookings.
You can use this feature on any device with an internet browser, including a laptop, mobile phone or tablet.
To get started, log into your online dashboard at my.cabcard.services then click “Payment Links” in the navigation bar, then click the “Send a payment link” button.
You'll see the payment link creation screen.

The only required field is the transaction amount. All other fields are optional.
If you wish to send the link by SMS, check the box and enter your customer's mobile phone number.
If you prefer to send the payment link by another means, e.g. email or WhatsApp, copy the URL after the payment link has been created. You can now send it however you choose.
Anytime payment links
Sometimes, you don't want to send a payment link to a customer - you just want them to pay you there and then. For example, if you've finished a journey and your terminal has run out of battery. Our anytime payment link feature is a great option for this. Your customer can simply scan a QR code and pay you for the agreed amount.
You'll find your Anytime QR code on your dashboard at my.cabcard.services/payment-links/create.
